But IDT is more than an institute. Seven years working in education consulting and programme coordination have shaped everything we believe about learning. No curriculum, however well-designed, can fully substitute for lived, practical experience. We have worked alongside students who memorised every concept yet struggled the moment they stepped into a professional environment — and we have witnessed the transformation that occurs when education is built around doing, not simply knowing. We founded IDT because we believe that vocational education, done right, is one of the most direct paths from potential to purpose. Every student who walks through our doors deserves an education that respects their intelligence, challenges their abilities, and gives them something tangible to carry into their careers. With twenty-five years dedicated to education — first as a teacher, then as a leader — I have witnessed firsthand both the failures of the system and the resilience of the students within it. Year after year, the same pattern emerged: capable, motivated individuals unable to access quality education not due to any lack of talent, but due to a lack of opportunity. It was this reality that compelled me to act. IDT was founded on a singular, unwavering principle: to make quality vocational education genuinely accessible to all. Our commitment extends beyond graduation — every student who passes through this institution must leave prepared for the demands of the workforce, equipped not only with knowledge, but with the practical skills and confidence to contribute meaningfully to their field and community.
